VIISA is excited to announce and welcome Mr. Marc Djandji as Entrepreneur-In-Residence of our FinTech Lab and two-year-old Accelerator Program. Marc will be responsible for the success of batch companies as well as corporate finance coaching from 2019.
For the last five years, Marc has been leading Institutional Sales desks; first at VPBank Securities and then at Rong Viet Securities where he grew revenue, broadened the institutional client base, and helped improve client services. He has been widely recognized as a thought leader on Vietnam’s capital markets and has been cited in the WSJ, Bloomberg Businessweek, Asia Money, and Finance Asia.
He’s volunteered with the CFA Institute for many years and has played an active role in Vietnam’s CFA community. He lives in Ho Chi Minh City with his wife and daughter, and travels widely around the region. Finally, he’s a craft beer enthusiast and a shareholder in Pasteur Street Brewing Co.
With its fast-growing middle class and its highly literate, young, tech-hungry population, he believes Vietnam has the potential to become one of the next startup powerhouses in ASEAN.
"VIISA’s team and its Accelerator Program play an important role in making Vietnam an innovation hub in the region. As one of VIISA’s Entrepreneurs in Residence, I hope to become an active member of Vietnam’s startup ecosystem. My goal is to support young entrepreneurs, help get companies started, become a little smarter, and meet some new people in the meantime.", shared by Marc Djandji in VIISA Welcoming lunch.
His strong winning attitude and personality are assets that will complement and enhance VIISA's ability to continue the mission in building a quality, innovative and mostly importantly meaningful startup training program in Vietnam!
Finally, we hope to continue having your support for VIISA team on the exciting journey ahead.
